The Black Waterfall composed in fall of 2022, co-created with same name art piece by artist Yuqing Zhao. The piece is unique by using special harmonies and timbre changes to create a grotesque, quiet and powerful atmosphere. From the music, audience can feel the vitality created by the flow and collision of waterfalls, and also feel the surge of water

waves in the serene atmosphere full of Zen. The melody echoes from beginning to end to show the dynamic change of the waterfall from still flow to surging wave and then back to calm, creating an immersive atmosphere for the audience in a delicate way but also creating a unique space full of imagination.

⿊瀑布创作于2022年秋季，与同名艺术品合作创作。整⾸曲⼦使⽤特殊的和声和⾳⾊变化来构建出怪诞，静谧⼜充满⼒量感的氛围。从曲⼦中既可以感受到瀑布的流动与碰撞创造的⽣命⼒，⼜可以沉浸在充满禅意的宁静氛围⾥感受⽔波的涌动。曲式上⾸尾呼应来呈现瀑布从静流变成涌波后⼜回归平静的动态变化，细腻的为观众构建出了沉浸式的氛围但同时⼜创造了充满想象⼒的独特空间。
